Freight planning tool
Calculate total shipment volume across multiple packages and review indicative air volumetric weight.
For centimetres, divide the result by 1,000,000 to obtain cubic metres (CBM).
Measure the outside length, width and height of each packed item, including pallets and any protrusions. Enter the number of packages with those same dimensions. For different package sizes, add a separate row for each size.
Worked example: 10 cartons, each 60 × 40 × 40 cm, occupy 0.60 × 0.40 × 0.40 × 10 = 0.96 CBM. This is volume, not a freight price or a guarantee of container fit.
Air volumetric weight is an estimate using the selected divisor. The carrier’s divisor, minimums, rounding, actual weight and acceptance determine the chargeable basis. For LCL sea freight, confirm the consolidator’s weight/measurement rules and local charges.
Review the service scope, then share your cargo and route for a shipment-specific quotation.
